bodyx Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) hello, I work with GX developer and do not know how to make a program to calculate a sensor pulses per minute, please if you can help me with an example Thanks Edited December 26, 2012 by bodyx
Crossbow Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 There's so many ways to interpret this you need to be more specific. And how fast are these pulses coming? Are you looking at a fixed window repeating every minute? like seconds 00-59 on the clock? Or are you looking to wait for one pulse, and then count 60 seconds from that point? What I would recommend is this: Run a timer for 60 seconds. Run a counter which counts your pulses. When the timer completes, move the value of the counter to a register and reset it. You could also use the seconds on the PLC clock and a compare instead of the timer.
bodyx Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 I am looking to calculate how many such boxes to go through a sensor 60 seconds but I would like if possible an example done by someone already in ladder language, do not want to use the position SPD (...) Thanks
bodyx Posted December 27, 2012 Author Report Posted December 27, 2012 I forgot to mention that using FX1N PLC
Crossbow Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 I posted a detailed explanation of how to do it, but I'm not going to write your ladder for you. I think you can handle one timer and one counter.
bodyx Posted December 28, 2012 Author Report Posted December 28, 2012 Thanks anyway that's not the problem, I already solved thanks a lot
