BITS N BYTES Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 Anyone using Windows 8 yet? Willing to share experience of compatibility wilh PLC programming software packages? Most interested to know results with CX Programmer and RSLogix 500/5000. Any issues with other software?
Tech Fred Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 What I have heard from most of my customers is that they will be avoiding Windows 8 like they did Vista. We have tested our server software on both and it works however, we will recommend that customers use Windows Server 2012 to run it and not Windows 8.
