PLC Memory

Hi all..I have some issues about the plc memory..My program is around 30k steps. Are plc memory can support ladder comment?.If plc can support, are it affect to scan time?..I use Q series PLC (Q06UDEHCPU)..Noted that this model can support 60k steps, 128k bytes for Standard RAM and 240k bytes for Standard ROM. Is't the file COMMENT.wcd and MAIN.wdv in the folder Program Name\Resource\Others are the comment program?..This file is around 80KB. If I cut this file, comment in PLC ladder program also disappear.Anyone have ideas about this problem..

Comments does NOT affect scan time. It will only take up space in the CPU

So with my PLC model Q06UDEHCPU, can it cover for COMMENT file (80KB) without install external memory card?.

That depends on the size of the rest of your program. Basically you can see this when you try to download....

In the software, there is an option to confirm project size. Check off the items you want to download and it will tell you how much memory is required. Tool menu. It has nothing to do with the size of the files on the PC.
