quick.msp Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 (edited) We are having an issue working with the MAD42 unit. We cant get any settings for current in the output. It says in the manual that it has 4 inputs, and 2 outputs (one of them being current). I attached a screen shot showing that they only have a choise for a voltage output. Under the output1 output signal range settings it only has voltage options, none for current. Is there a setting that will allow us to use the current as an output? We are using cx-programmer ver.7.0 Thanks in advance, Justin Reis Edited April 2, 2013 by quick.msp
Mendon Systems Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 You need to read section 9 of the W345 manual! Output voltage or current is selected by the terminal bloc. Input voltage or current is selected by switches.
yohan_instrumen_kb2 Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 may be you should try this : rung 1 mov #0AFF D20000 this is to enable all channel rung 2 mov #FF0F D20001 this is to setting input and input at 4 20 mA rung 3 mov #F3 D20035 this is to make your MAD42 out put to be 4mA at minimum and 20mA at maximum output and may be you will be asking: why must #0AFF? the answer is: #0AFF = 0000 1010 1111 1111 = output 1 enable, output 2 enable, input 1 enable ,input 1enable, input 2 enable etc, loop1 ratio positive ( it mean "1-0"), loop2 ratio positive too. thank you
