Hi, When I use the current loop control way, 4~20mA, how long can I send the signal without any loss on the line normally? Is there any information or datasheet about that? Thanks for your help in advance. Edited by Tom749

Depends on cable type and cross-section, and on analog signal frequency too. In most cases, using shielded cable 2x0,75mm2, maximum lenght of about 300m is permitted. For voltage drop, example, total resistance (cable + analog input reststance) must not exceed a value 1kOhm, for "static" signals. Edited by Homer_BL
