graph output

Hi people In siemens step 7 version 5.5, using graph action to set a address to 1. However when the step action is passed the set address cannot latch. We tried changing the address to a memory bit or even straight as a output bit, still couldn't solve the problem. example: step 1 - auto start S "cycle active" S "light10" trans1 - "switch 11" step 2 - On L11 S "light11" when step 1 is carried out light 10 set to 1, when trans1 is met, it goes to step 2. (light10 will turn OFF,but we want it to remain ON) How can this problem be solved? Cheers
