Rayg5 Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I am trying to set up my galaxy so I can deploy to nodes on my network but for the life of me I am not seeing how to let the galaxy no what nodes to deploy to. I have created an instance to deploy and I have deployed it but I have no idea where is goes? I have one coumputer hooked up to the same network that I know can connect with the hosts galaxy but I am at a loss on how to go about finishing this, I have read the applications servers guide, also the deploying a managed intouch applications manual, anybody got any idea where I am missing the link? It seems to me somewhere I would have to tell it and ip address, node name or something on where to deploy to but I am not seeing this, any help out there?
Cookie Monster Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 This is all from memory so it may be off slightly.. Once you have created the hosts that you wish to deploy the application to, the deployment window in the bottom left corner will have the various instances that you need to configure with the IP address. You can right click on the hosts and configure them. This will include the IP address and all other parameters for window viewer. I can include screen shots when I get back to the office to help clear some things up.
Cookie Monster Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 When you create the WinPlatform and arrange it in your deployment window you can double click on the item in my instance called 'Windows_WW1'. This will bring up the screen and allow you to enter the node name or in my case I am using a DNS server and I just enter the PC DNS name. You can just type in the IP address and it will function.
