HSC count during power cycle

I had an interesting question from a customer where I just installed a 1769-HSC. Will the count remain intact during a power cycle? They suffer from frequent power outages and I know the obvious answer is a UPS, but the likelihood is not there. It looks like, per the manual, that input data is all reset, but I wanted confirmation. Unfortunately we can't afford the downtime right now in order to test this after last week's shutdown. Thanks.
