Promi 205-OA Bluetooth Serial Adaptor

Hello, Still struggling with the range of connectivity with the Promi 205 -OA Bluetooth Seial Adaptors that my plant uses for connecting our CJ1M PLCs to our Laptops. The range is supposed to be approx 10-20 meters allowing for obstructions etc but I am finding that if the Laptop is positioned behind the Electrical panel that the Adaptor is situated then the range drops. If I leave the panel door open and connect then the range increases dramatically. Does any one use these Adaptors and if so can you get an extension lead to plug in to the RS232 Port of the CJ1M and the other end to the Adaptor so that I can position the Adaptor outside of the Panel. Or has any one fitted a Dipole Antenna and did that increase the distance. Regards Peter
