Using E5ZN-SDL with PLC

Hello Everyone, I have an OMRON Gateway PRT1-SCU11 connected with Setting Display Unit E5ZN-SDL and Temperature Controller E5ZN- 2TPH03TC-FLK. This supposed to be Like the picture attached "Temperature_Controllers_TG_OverView.jpg" According to my little fresh knowledge, I supposed to enter the "SP" through the "Setting Display Unit E5ZN-SDL" for each TC and It will do the control action according to the configuration (PID or ON/OFF), Right? But I have a Siemens PLC Connected Over Profibus with this TCs using the Gateway PRT1-SCU11 and I want to send the "SP" from the PLC for each TC instead of the "Setting Display Unit E5ZN-SDL" and each TC shall do the control as previous. I already have the GSD File of "PRT1-SCU11" and inserted it in SIMATIC TIA Portal and already have the "PRT1-SCU11" connected to PLC over Profibus as shown in attached "Network". So please I need help in how to send "SP" Directly From PLC to each controller? Thanks in advance,

You will need to review the manual for the PRT1-SCU11. There is information in the manual that explains how the memory is mapped between the PLC and the E5ZN. Here is a link to the manual: PRT1-SCU11 Manual I hope this will help.

Dear gtsuport, Thanks for your reply. Please can you be more clear about mapping the addresses of SP and PV from OMRON to SIEMENS PLC as I have only this view for each controller as shown in the attached photo. As you see I have only addresses for inputs and outputs, as an Example: The First TC (Rack 0/Slot 1), It has these peripheral memory words PIW (260/261/262/263) for input and these peripheral memory words PQW (260/261/262/263) for output.

Have you looked to see if you have any data at Input word 260 or output word 260? Are the Profibus words 8 bit or 16 bit? Omron words would be 16 bit, but due to 4 words being assigned, guessing one Omron word maybe two Profibus words? I have no experience with Profibus. You may want to contact your local distributor to see if they can assist you.

The Profibus network is now working and I can send SP to each TC and read it through the E5ZN-SDL and also read the PV on PLC. But now my problem is an issue with the TCs, I'm able to send the SP to each controller and read its PV with no response from an TC. Does it need an "enable bit" for each TC to start working?! and again thanks so much for your help :notworthy:
