Rust Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Hi!I have some question. When i was writing and compiling a program in GX IEC Developer i recieved warning "C, or S designation for timer and counter are ignored. Be sure to use the correct one for monitoring". Can somebody explain what does it mean ? Thanks for any answer or advice !
kaare_t Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Not sure, cannot regenerate the warning. Could you post your project, or an example project with the same warning?
Inntele Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) It means that a timer or a counter consists of three elements: a coil ©, a status (S) and a num value (N), and in the programming software it represents as TC###, TS### and TN###, or CC###,CS###,CN### accordingly. When compiling to the executable program each of these element get a simple destignation name, which is T### or C###. The warning reminds you, that for monitoring purpose of a timer or counter you should use a full (biliteral) name and to watch its specific element. http://www.melsec.ru...wtopic=4892&hl= Edited September 6, 2013 by Inntele
