Micro 830 file transfer MATLAB

Hi, I am currently employing machine vision system with MATLAB to detect the colour of an object. I want to know how I can send this signal to a Micro 830 PLC in order to allow the correct output to switch on for that specific colour to be placed at its designated location. cheers
