120VAC door bell...or something like that

I am hunting for a switch that is very shallow in depth such as a door bell switch, can be screwed to a wooded 4 x 4 post for a hand rail, and is rated for 120VAC. It would be nice if it is also illuminated since I will also be using it for an outdoor light switch. Nothing industrial looking, just a nice rustic look for my stairs going down to our building. I would think this would be a simple request but I've about exhausted my options hunting for a solution. Anyone have anything that comes to mind? Thanks TW

One misquote on my requirements. I said I needed a switch, I need a momentary button...just like a door bell.

Yes, I wanted something surface mounted but I've come the conclusion that I'm going to have to recess it for it to be 120VAC rated.
