kaare_t Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 You need the SC-09 cable from Mitsubishi (I do not recommend anyone from Ebay) since it contains a RS232<->RS422 converter on the cable (the FX port is RS422). You should contact your local Mitsu dealer...
pejscott Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) Hi. You can make a purchase for the items you request from Amazon UK, from a online retailer called (SainSmart). They sale, cost effective alternative PLC programming cables for the Mitsubishi MELSEC FX. Personally, you should take the option, of using a (USB) port from your Siemens laptop to a RS422 adapter for the MELSEC FX PLC. Please, (Select) or (Paste and Go) to the following links: *. kaare_t Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 Well, as I previously stated; you should use a standard (Mitsu approved) SC-09 cable. Others before you have tried the approach above with more or less success, even on this forum: http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?showtopic=25864&st=0&p=124092&hl=usb%20sc09&fromsearch=1entry124092 You may choose to do what you want, but remember that we cannot help you very much if you use non-approved products and run into problems....
