Can't connect to cpm1

Hi guys , first time trying to program a cpm1 , but did some cpm2a so I thought it would be same thing , I have the cif01 adapter with the rs232c cable , but can't connect to cx-programmer , I have version 7.0 Is there something I need to set specifically for this plc to connect with the PC ? Tried 2 different computer and no luck so far

They have been dead for years now and my memory is rusty but I think connection is the same. Have you tried 'auto online' at all - not sure if it searches for the old girls though. I would suggest the baud rate may be different - there is a dip switch that will set the comms to a standard value so you can go online - check the manual.
