I have an application in Crimson 3.0 talking RS-485 Modbus to some Emerson servo drives. (There is no PLC.) I would like to run the application in the Emulator on my PC to get screen shots for manuals, etc. I would like to do this with live data. We use a USB to serial converter to program the servos. When I plug it in to the PC it appears in Device Manager as COM2. I have been unable to get the Emulator to see this connection. Is this possible? I find the Link/Options setup to be a bit confusing. In Crimson this is the "RS-485 Comms Port" with the Modbus Universal Master selected as the Driver. How should I set up the Link Options Communications Port and Panel Emulation?
