skjomcs Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 H i i have a CP1W Ethernet IO module on an omron PLC. The LED "ERR" light is flashing. The PLC is connected to a PC constantly via this Ethernet board Connecting via the web interface i have seen that under the status view of the web interface the Address Disagreement parameter is abnormal. Looking at he manual it suggests the following: "Make sure that the node number and the last byte of the IP address are the same and then set other host ID's to 0. Change the address conversion method" if the PLC ip address is 172.25.0.94 does this mean that the fins node address should be set to 94? Quote
Mendon Systems Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 Well ..... I haven't used that module but I believe the FINS node is HEX and the IP address is decimal. That means the node address must be converted to HEX. 94 decimal = 5E hex. At least that's the way it works with the CJ2M node switches. Quote
pfort Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 There is no rotary switch like the CJ2M.... and he never told wich module he have... there are several CP1W-ETNxx or CP1W EIPxx Quote
