I have an extensive PLC programming background, as well as experience in VB applications involving PLC, HMI, and Databases. Has anyone out there started on their own Embedded VB Script for an Ethernet OPC driver to connect a PDA (mine is an Axim X30 624mhz, 64ram , 64rom) directly to a PLC without a SCADA HMI server? I have thought about writing my own driver, but wonder if my time will out weigh the $ that I can buy one for.
