Majo Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Hi, does anybody knows how I can comunicate Mitsubishi Melsec Q PLC with Mitsubishi Movemaster RV M1 robot without QJ71C24 module? I have Melsec Q25HCPU with profibus, ethernet, cc - link module, unfortunately I don't have c24 module. Best regards.
Inntele Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 To organize a gate CC-Link-RS232C is possible either with AJ65BT-R2N module by Mitsubishi or with AnyBus Gateway http://www.hms.se/products/products.asp?PID=366&ProductType=Anybus%20Communicator
Majo Posted August 5, 2014 Author Report Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) What do you think about comunication Robot-> PC -> OPC Server -> PLC ? It might be work? Besides I think AJ65BT-R2N module is for A series, not Q which I possess. Edited August 5, 2014 by Majo
Inntele Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 The AJ65BT-R2N is not a card for A-series, it's remote RS232-interface module to use in CC-Link v1 network: http://dl.mitsubishielectric.com/dl/fa/document/manual/plc/ib0800381e/ib0800381ed.pdf If to say about your idea, of course, the solution may work. However this is not right to implement it in terms of system reliability and safety. In one of topics of the forum I already explained a binding rule: All control sequence must be realized in PLC, which must control a peripheral equipment directly! PC must perform functions of setpoint/receipt settings and/or monitoring only. For the purposes of industrial automation a PC is only HMI and no more!!
