gleblanc Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Somehow, in my many revisions of the project for my conveyor control program, I've lost most of the statements describing how the program works. If I open an older version of the project, I can find the statements. Is there a way to copy them over in bulk, rather than one at a time? I can't even find a way to compare two projects on disk using GXWorks2, but it seems like a common request, so I might just be overlooking something today. Thanks, Quote
JRoss Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 As far as I know there isn't a software solution for statements. My method is to upload current code from the PLC into a project with documentation. Isn't perfect, as the statements could end up in different spots, but the software is pretty good about that, and it's better than nothing. To verify (compare) two on disk projects, open one of them and then in the Project menu choose Verify. Then choose the second project. It's basically the same function as verifying with an online PLC, they just put the command into a different menu. Go figure. Quote
