Something IS wrong, with your setup. I'm actually having no problems with copy/paste or anything like that. I've had success with Windows 7/Chrome browser, Windows 8.1/Chrome browser and Linux/Chrome browser. I have seen other posts about forum issues, so it's probably not just you, but strangely enough, I've had no issues at all.
