FX3U-64MR/ES and Mit. E1101 HMI

Will I be able to connect FX3U-64MR with FX3U-232-BD to RS232C port on E1101 HMI directly using 9 pin D type connectors and communicate without any coding so I can use HMI as a touch panel to communicate with plc. I have the pin out for both ports and what pins do I have to omit to establish successful com. link. Any help would be much appreciated. donny

If I recall, yes you can just put in the BD card, and select the driver in the E1000 HMI. Remember that E1000 needs a crossed RS232 cable for the BD card (and not straight like the old E-series).
