Bridrum22 Posted March 30, 2015 Report Posted March 30, 2015 Hi Guys, im doing a new project that requires 10 recipes to be set up. The recipes control the speed and distance that a slide moves back and fort at and the rotational speed of a chuck. What would be the best way to set up these recipes? I am using a CP1L. They also have to be selected from a HMI (NB5Q-TW00B). Any help is much appreciated. Quote
Crossbow Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Recipes are typically a function of the HMI not the PLC. NB can do recipes. Quote
Michael Walsh Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Here is another post that discussed this very topic. It discusses the HMI handling the recipe and doing it in the PLC (my preference). http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?showtopic=25098&hl=recipe#entry120904 For only 2 values however, either way would do the trick. Michael Walsh Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 I had written up a quick ladder sample a while back and I had not posted it here. I went ahead and added a simple NB screen to the code and attached it at the link below: http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=1030 The reason that I like the ladder method is that it allows greater flexibility.
