happytriger2000 Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 Hi all, I have a couple of MRJ2S drives which I usually apply 220VAC 3Phase in order to run the AC servo which worked as expected, but recently I brought a set of MRJ2S-10A Drive + Motor to my basement at home and I would like to power it with 110VAC 1 phase, is this possible? I read the MR-J2S-XA Instruction Manual page 39/402 shows the power input using 110~120VAC, my question is does this apply to certain types of MRJ2S drives? I had the same wiring as the Picture below, got a red light "Charge" but nothing on display:
happytriger2000 Posted August 8, 2015 Author Report Posted August 8, 2015 Read the manual again page 3-47 (3.7.2), MRJ2S-10A main circuit power supply 230vac 3phase or 230vac single phase, where MRJ2S-10A1 main circuit power supply 100~120 vac single phase 50/60hz.
Crossbow Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 If the part number ends in A1, then it's 100V. If just A, then its 200V. No you cannot power a J2S-10A from 110V. That's pretty clearly explained in the beginning of that same manual where it indicates the model numbers.
