Romeo Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Hello GE experts, need help on module supply voltage pins, i have some Input modules lying around and i want to power them up off the rack (on bench), thanks...
RussB Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 There may be a manual here: http://www.plcs.net/downloads/
Romeo Posted October 22, 2015 Author Report Posted October 22, 2015 Thanks Russ, i have the GEK-96602A manual but there's no instance of backplane power rails there... We have only one PLC unit and cant afford the downtime just to trace and take notes of the power rails, I guess il just have to wait for it to fail hehehe....
Steve Bailey Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 The LEDs on input modules are on the field wiring side, so if you make the proper connections they should light up when you apply a signal. I just verified that with an 8 circuit 110 VAC Input module.
