How do I assign an IP address to an S71200 CPU for the first time? Is it possible to do it over ethernet? Thanks in advance!

To get connected for the first time, set your NIC card to "Obtain an IP address automatically". When you perform an online operation, the PG/PC interface acts as a DHCP server and will assign IP addresses to your NIC card and the PLC. Once connected, you can download your program with an IP address of your choice.
