adam123 Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 hello Im using a FX3GE-24M at the moment and im new in it. Everything works fine but i cannot figure out how to use the analog output. Also i cannot find the right documentetion for this (if it exists at all). Somewhere i read that maybe the WR3A function is the one im looking for but it isnt clear for me how it works. Does the analog input/ output has a special adress/ device, like the digital ones has the X0..., Y0... devices? Any help/ tip would be great about this thing and a simple example(program code) could help me a lot. thanks
Theo V Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Hi Adam 123, In the download section in the right column of this page under: 'Manuals, Tutorials' I've uploaded some hardware manuals for the FX3 series PLC. I hope this helps you out a bit Best regards, Theo V.
nehpets Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 You need to read this as a start, http://dl.mitsubishielectric.com/dl/fa/document/manual/plc_fx/jy997d49401/jy997d49401f.pdf If you are talking about the integrated Analogue function then pay extra attention to the D registers 'D8280 - 89 as it writes to these and the bit registers 'M8280 - 89' to set up analogues, The WR3A function writes to the analogue extension units (ie FX2-2DA) This should allow you to start understanding the analogues, but be warned it will mess with your head once you start adding additional analogues to the left hand side of the processor. Steve
adam123 Posted November 27, 2015 Author Report Posted November 27, 2015 thank you guys i read an other manual earlier (looks like the wrong one) it said that i have to use D8260 but it didnt work as you say and as the documents show me, i was using the wrong registers overall it looks promising, i will try it next week thx again for your help
Inntele Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 adam123, In this post you can find a correct destination for left-hand analog (embedded / board / module).
