iqrom Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 Dear All, Hi, Im newbie here, please help me to out from my problem. I wanna ask about "how to add rack in PLC Omron CP1H??" and "How see address Built in AD/DA on Settiing?" Thanks All
iqrom Posted May 17, 2016 Author Report Posted May 17, 2016 can I get your manual book ? So, Maximum slot in Main Rack CP1H just two? I have Five AD041 and One DA041, In Software Just Two "Empty Slot", Can I add Empty Slot again? and How? Thanks Jay
Jay Anthony Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 Quote So, Maximum slot in Main Rack CP1H just two? Only two CJ1 modules can be used on Main Rack.
gtsuport Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 With that amount of analog, it would be better to use a CJ2M processor. Main rack would be able to support 10 modules. Up to 3 expansion racks with 10 modules each could be added. CP1H can be programmed with the Lite version of CX-One. CJ2 would need the full version of CX-One. Hope this is helpful.
pfort Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) What are your (complete) number of expansion modules? Does they begin with CP1W ? And, complete number of the PLC? Edited May 17, 2016 by pfort

pfort Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 You don't have to use "IO Table and Unit Setup" for CP1W expansion. This is only if you want to add CJ1 modules (2 max). Section 5 (page 325) for your built-in analog IO, and section 7 (page 389) for expansion units.

pfort Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Yes, and further in section 7, you will see that you have to write a "range code" in the ladder.

You can not have more than 3 of them because you are limited to 15 inputs words, and they need 4 input words each.
Suru Posted August 13, 2016 Report Posted August 13, 2016 how can i jump the connecting line over another in cx one program....

Michael Walsh Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Do you mean like this? Like in an electrical schematic? If so, you cannot do that in ladder logic.
Suru Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 yes i mean that ...... thaks for the replay
Suru Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 my omron plc is of npn type that means common -ve .. if accidently connect another -ve terminal which is anoutput from a sensor (-24v). if there is any problam for that.....
Crossbow Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 You need to make sure the common terminals are wired to the same power supply as the devices wired to them.
marcinmrag Posted April 10, 2019 Report Posted April 10, 2019 Hello Experts! I have a question. I have one module MAD42. Im going to add one more extra connected to the first one. How to set the input configuration for second module? I can't figure out exactly how to set configuration for second Analog card. For the second card i should move for example #80ED to 104 and 105? Than read the input from 6 to 10?
gtsuport Posted April 10, 2019 Report Posted April 10, 2019 We need to understand your configuration. Do you have two CP1W-MAD42 modules? Or are they CJ1W-MAD42? Thanks, gtsuport

gtsuport Posted April 10, 2019 Report Posted April 10, 2019 Yes, your original post is correct. Thanks, gtsuport
