SHIV121 Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Hello guys,,, please anyone tell me what is the difference between FX3U ENET ADP and FX3U ENET card. thanks in advance. Quote
Luke.S Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 The ADP plugs into the left side of the CPU and you access it via special devices (SM/SD) which are detailed in the manual. The ENET is connected to the external bus on the right side and is accessed via buffer memory (e.g. FROM/TO commands). You will need to identify the start I/O number of the module depending on its location on the bus. 1 Quote

Luke.S Posted July 28, 2016 Report Posted July 28, 2016 You're welcome. I don't know what your application is but this table should help you pick the right one Quote
Akahige Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 Also consider the following: When configuring the communications Port Numbers for these Ethernet modules. The FX3U ENET ADP module is configured as Port 5556, while the Special Function Module FX3U ENET keeps the default Port No. 5551. Quote

Crossbow Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Pretty sure they have a step by step example on their website, or in the Downloads section here. I know I've seen one before. Also, the FX3U Data Communication Manual should have the examples. Quote
