Crossbow Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Should be able to just select the same model from the Mitsubishi list, the only difference should be the first letter.
keesoon Posted November 29, 2004 Author Report Posted November 29, 2004 hi Chris: the number on the pls is A1-40ER and is not on the list of the mitsubushi but I well try the ACPU A1N and see if it work tanks for you help
Guest Albert Fanakapan Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Although I've never seen a Shillin PLC, I hear they are really Mitsibushi plc's. Open gppwin and then go online and use 'read from plc' It should communicate and will tell you at the bottom of the screen what it thinks it is connected to. then upload the program>
keesoon Posted November 30, 2004 Author Report Posted November 30, 2004 (edited) this is the picture of the shihlin plc Edited November 30, 2004 by keesoon
keesoon Posted December 1, 2004 Author Report Posted December 1, 2004 (edited) Went I go to read from plc and fill all the info it try to read the plc but got a message Edited December 1, 2004 by keesoon
panic mode Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 I would try FX type as this is obviously shoebox type PLC... It looks like only first letter is A instead of F as the rest of the part number follows FX naming conventions.
Guest Albert Fanakapan Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Looking at the picture (and a picture speaks a thousand words) The frame of the plc looks just like the old and long defunct F series (F1 F2 not FX) And Gppwin and GXdev dont accomodate that model. You may have to find a copy of medoc and chose an F1 type plc.
keesoon Posted December 1, 2004 Author Report Posted December 1, 2004 I got the medoc 2.30 vertion but got no idea of how to use this can you tell me how to uset pleas tanks
Crossbow Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Now that we can see which PLC it is, you're not going to get it with GPPWIN. That is te equiavalent of the Mitsubishi F1, and the only software that would talk to it is the old DOS MEDOC software. MEDOC is pretty straightforward for a programming package. Just follow the menus and look for an ONLINE or TRANFER and you should be able to get the program out of the PLC. I don't know the actual menu structure, I haven't worked much with MEDOC. I prefer Windows programming, but you can't do Windows programming on a PLC that was developed 6 years before Windows existed...
