AB point IO 1734-IT2I configuration

Hi Gentleman, I am new to 1734-IT2I configuration, Its default parameters in engineering unit is 7000 to 0 in range. When it is connected to K type thermal couple, I got 260 C reading, but the room temperature is around 27 C. I'd like to know if I need to scale the value according K type thermal couple? How to do it ? Thanks

Have you used RSNetworx to configure the module or is it configured by default (refer to Chapter 3)?  Is it possible the module is not configured for Type K thermocouples?

Thanks Kaiser, I am using 1769-35E and configured it on RSlogix5000. selected k type and default parameters and 10 times creading

If you configured the channel for Type K and Celsius, then the PLC input value will be degC times 10 (260 = 26.0C). The High and Low Engineering values are only used for Custom Scaling.
