Guest DS_newbie Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 High there, can anyone tell me how to get out of this? I have a DL450 and configured the baud rate etc for port 1. Now when I try to look at the configuration through DirectSoft I get the following error message... "Invalid setup for port number 1". DirectSoft displays an hourglass for a while before displaying the error message. Port 1 is set it up for DirectNet, 9600 kbaud, 8 data, 1 stop, odd parity, Hex. It will be a slave to one HMI panel which is the master node. This was working ok with a DL440 CPU and I have just upgraded it to a DL450 CPU (it is running the same program that the 440 was). Any ideas what could be wrong? And how do I get things back to normal? Quote
rlp122 Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Try updating to the newest build. It should fix the problem. Quote
Guest Newbie Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Upgrading the SW didn't fix it. I had to power off the PLC before it would work. Nightmare! Quote
