Guest Tomcat Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I've got problems with my QCPU PLC and the CCL Master. Whenever I put off/on power the ERR.LED of the CCL Master is lit and I don't get rid of it unless I write a program without CCL parameters and then a program with CCL parameters to the PLC memory. Can anyone help? Did I forget to set a certain parameter?? Thx in advance Quote
navillusi Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 The ERR led on the cclink master can appear for numerous reasons, it could well be configured incorrectly or one of the slave devices it is looking for may be missing. Can you give us more information i.e. what the network configuration is, what slave devices you are using, can you post your code? Quote
Pierre Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Some Mitsu modules will do an error checking of there I/O signals specifically the 24 Vdc supply during the first scan. Sometime you have no power to the device before you engage the PLC in Run mode. For instance RUN set an output that engages the dc power to some part of the circuit and you use this supply to the module. During this short time the first scan has detected something missing but its already to late. I wire the dc supply directly to the module and put the safety interlocking relays after the outputs.
