Volfan Posted October 24, 2016 Report Posted October 24, 2016 When trying to connect to the PLC my software shows using a usb cable but I need to use the serial cable but it wont let me change it. What would cause this?

Volfan Posted October 24, 2016 Author Report Posted October 24, 2016 Its actually my software. It gives me two options of usb or serial connection and we change back and forth all the time but for some reason usb is selected and it wont let me change to serial.
Mendon Systems Posted October 24, 2016 Report Posted October 24, 2016 Possibly something has disabled the serial port on your PC??? Check Device Manager to see if the com port shows up as working OK.
