Westermo GD-01: SMS and projectdownload

Hello, I have a Q02-PLC with a QJ71C24 connected to it. I have a Westermo GD-01 connected to the QJ71C24. My problem is that it I both want to send SMS and be connected to the PLC to be able to eg. monitor or make project downloads. I can send sms´s and download programs to PLC seperatly using different Protocols (MC5 and ASCII without protocal). Is there anyone who have a good idea how to solve this problem? Best Regards

Do you have to 2 Comms ports availble...? If so you could use an interface relay (preferable like an Omron MY4N which from my recollection has gold plated contacts , important at low signal levels to stop crap building up on the contacts) . The default would switch to the port set up for ring program then when you want to send an SMS, simple use an output to switch over the contact relay and when sent deenergise again. If you only have on port then you will need to be able to dynamically on the run change the port settings over in the ladder logic, however even though i have no experience with this model i would suspect that you could not achieve this.
