Hi

I m very new to the plc...

These days i m doing some programming stuff with FX1N-14MR, so i need ur little help..

I have programm the plc... Now i want to test my plc wheather its doing good with the program or not...

Now i know that this plc will take the digital 24vdc as input and will not accept a raw 24vdc as input...

Now i dont have all the equilment yet with me.. So my question is that what thing can i use to convert a raw 24vdc to a digital 24vdc signal so i can use it with my inputs for testing my plc?

Thanks

You're confused about the wiring.  What's the difference between a 'raw' 24VDC and a 'digital' 24VDC?  I've been at this 20 years and never heard such designations.

The FX1N can be wired either sinking or sourcing.  It depends on which side of the power supply you connect to the S/S input terminal.  If you wire it negative, then the inputs must be from the positive of the same power supply.  If you wire S/S to positive, you use the negative through your input switches.

Clearly explained in the FX1N hardware manual if you look at it.

@Zubair Malik Just turn on a digital output as default in your program and then wire a bridge between that and your input when you want to simulate your input as true.

As for Raw 24Vdc and Digital 24Vdc as Crossbow mentioned I have never heard of this. I thing you want to say 24Vac (alternate) and 24Vdc( continous). In this case you need 24Vdc and if you command an output as standard on as I said and put a wire at it, the you can move that wire every time to the inputs you want to simulate as being on.

Hope this helps.
