You want to know how to replace one CPU with another?

You have a copy of the MT-Developer or MT Works2 project for the CPU?  Or is the old CPU alive so you can try to make a backup>?

I want to backup old Q172CPUN , and restore new Q172cpun

Then you need MT Developer or MT Works2 and you can upload from the old CPU.

Hi,

I used MT Developer2 ( Online--> Read from CPU..) from the old cpu, and (online --> write to CPU) for the New CPU, but the new CPU not work

Did you upload everything?  There may be data in registers in the old one which is not part of the uploaded program.

Also, you need to make sure that the PLC CPU to its left has the right program and same settings in it.
