mazen_abs Posted March 1, 2017 Author Report Posted March 1, 2017 thank you mr Gambit , but it still not working , could you please help me , if have files explain the connection steps with examples thanks in advance
Gambit Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) Ok you are using the FX3GE so the port should be 5556 (port 5551 is for the ethernet module on the right side) Can you change the GOT station number of the GOT to 2. (You should prevent having the same station numbers for GOT and PLC. Lastly Did you create a MELSOFT connection in the ethernet parameters in GX Works 2? Edited March 1, 2017 by Gambit
mazen_abs Posted March 1, 2017 Author Report Posted March 1, 2017 I did and herein snapshot for plc & GT setting
Gambit Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) Looks fine. Are you connected to a switch or is it a direct cable between GOT and FX? If it's switch is anything else connected ? Can you ping the PLC from the GOT or vice versa? What do the ethernet diagnostic say from the PC side? Edited March 1, 2017 by Gambit
Gambit Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Can you ping fom GOT to PLC? This is a function you can access via the utilities. Have you tried another cross cable ?
mazen_abs Posted March 1, 2017 Author Report Posted March 1, 2017 sory, would please clarify what you mean by ping function
Gambit Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Do you know how to create a button to get to the utillities of the GOT
kaare_t Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 5 hours ago, mazen_abs said: Direct connected As @Gambit is also saying: Did you use a crossed Ethernet cable? You need a crossed Ethernet cable if directly connected.
