Amogh Posted May 27, 2017 Report Posted May 27, 2017 Thanks in advance I am working with Mitsubishi Fx3G 60MR I want to communicate it with scada which is having inbuilt Mitsu protocol written in it For the baud rate of 9600 it connects automatically but if we increase the baud rate error occur i want to communicate it with 38400 communication parameter for that is - 7,even,1 what setting can be done to achieve it any help will be appreciated
Theo V Posted May 27, 2017 Report Posted May 27, 2017 Hello Amogh, First of all, why do you want to speed up? 9600BAUD is normally fast enough to feed the data to your Scada unless you have a lot of data to transfer from the PLC. If you want to increase the speed I suggest you use an Ethernet connection instead. As far as I know serial connection is limited to 9600Baud for FX PLC's. (Add a ENET-ADP adapter and an Ethernet module to the FX3G base module). Best regards, Theo V.
Gambit Posted May 29, 2017 Report Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) Only the old FX2N is limited to 9600. The FX3 and FX5 PLC are much faster. (115.2Kbps) What is the cable distance between the scada and the PLC. But I agree with Theo V. Why not add the ENET ADP Edited May 29, 2017 by Gambit
