SidVic Posted August 22, 2017 Report Posted August 22, 2017 I have a MR-JE-408 and it's set up to move to a home position, see an input from a sensor then repeat the cycle. but randomly, it will move to the position, get to it then go backwards for about 0.3 of a second then go forwards again. it can go for 20 minutes and not do this, then do it every 2 minutes . Any ideas please?
SidVic Posted August 23, 2017 Author Report Posted August 23, 2017 Yes Sorry . Has anyone had this kind of problem ? Thanks in advance
glavanov Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 So many things can go wrong. From power supply, sensors, switches, signal wiring to mechanical issues, bad sized motor or poor programming. It's only enough if the servo is not tunned properly or at all. Is it a working machine that have the issue now? Is it retrofit? Is it a new project... ?! You have to be more specific on hardware like PLC and simple motion module model. With this lack of information, no one can help you.
SidVic Posted August 23, 2017 Author Report Posted August 23, 2017 That's a fair comment - Thank you anyway.
kaare_t Posted August 26, 2017 Report Posted August 26, 2017 Hi! I do agree with @glavanov, however if you provide some more information like he suggested it would be easier to point you in a direction... It's often easier with "more minds" on the case when debugging random problems, so feel free to share some more information about your application. We'll ask for more if needed.
