mattraby Posted September 11, 2017 Report Posted September 11, 2017 I have a machine that occasionly faults because a devicenet cable is failing from flexing constanty. Twice now my maintenance staff ahs diagnosed the problem incorrectly and repalced some reather expensive components rather than the inexpensive cable. Are there any flags I can take adbantage of when a node drops off the network? I could sue this to add messages to the HMI and point them to the right device. CJ2M CPU Thanks for any assistance as I am not very famiialr with Omron progrmaming.
Jay Anthony Posted September 13, 2017 Report Posted September 13, 2017 Check out 3-3-8 Slave Detailed Status in this manual. It is talking about the Data Memories that are assigned to your Devicenet Master. W380-E1-05 CJ1-CS1_DeviceNet_Master_Unit.pdf
