plcman Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Hi I have an old F1 PLC I need to reprogram. I am using MEDOC to do this. Can anybody remember the keystrokes I need to add a number to a data register. i.e. [ADD D0 K1 D0] I got as far as pressing '8' but everything I then type gives me the message invalid instruction. Any help gratefully received.
Gambit Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 The problem in this case is that the F1 is very old and doesn;t support an instruction like ADD. You would need an FX
Crossbow Posted September 22, 2017 Report Posted September 22, 2017 I think there was a special instruction that could do math. The manuals should be here in the Downloads section from years ago.
Theo V Posted September 22, 2017 Report Posted September 22, 2017 Hi PLC man, If I remember right: Wasn't it [F8] instead of [8] to get to the special function section? Best regards, Theo V.
Sergei Troizky Posted September 28, 2017 Report Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) The Medoc keystrokes are the same for any supported PLC. F7- Edit rung/Accept edit, 1- N.O. contact, 2-N.C. contact, 7-coil, etc. The F1/F2 syntax, however, is totally different, and all the instructions and their arguments are F coils. http://www.factoryautmation.com/downloadfile/D1984_Mitsubishi_jy992d08301a.pdf Edited September 28, 2017 by Sergei Troizky
