Kiiza Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 Hello guys, hope you are well. I have with me KOYO PLC C0-02DD1-D. I have programmed it successfully. However, I do have a challenge with it's digital outputs. I expect a voltage of 24Vdc from the outputs but I am instead getting a voltage of 12Vdc. Even the 12Vdc I measure at the outputs looks fake voltage because whein I use it to energize 12Vdc relays, they don't get energized. I appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
TimWilborne Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 That unit has sinking outputs so chances are it is the way you have it wired. You should have 24VDC connected to your load (relay) then the minus wire of the relay should go to the output. To properly test the output, put the red lead of your voltmeter on +24VDC and the black lead on the output. 1
Kiiza Posted January 29, 2018 Author Report Posted January 29, 2018 I will try that out. Thank you very much.
TimWilborne Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 Here is a good article on Sinking and Sourcing. https://www.theautomationstore.com/npn-pnp-devices-and-connections/
