Stuart_Wales Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 See photo, I've used the help feature but it's not helping much..... Especially the ">SFLD 3" command? Code is linked to a 12 character ASCII input from HMI (which I am extending length to 16 characters), and then sent to a laser controller to mark a part.
Gambit Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 The C24 module is set to byte processing instead of word. As for the >SFLD 3 [D9500.D9501............] [H0D] command you will have to consult your laser controller protocol 1
Stuart_Wales Posted February 6, 2018 Author Report Posted February 6, 2018 Hi Gambit, what do you mean by C24 module?

Delbert Posted February 13, 2018 Report Posted February 13, 2018 The $MOV moves that specific character string ">SFLD 3 " into the D8050. The next instruction WTOB separates each of the characters into its own register, this is repeated with a second set of registers. the MOV H0D is moving a Hex value for a CR into a register. then the last line combines all of the characters back into 1 string of 51 characters. 2
