atanas Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 (edited) Perhaps it has something to do with the program scan time? 1 ms is challenging. Edited March 14, 2018 by atanas
Crossbow Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 More information would be required. WHICH PLC? Different models have different cycle times, and they should document the accuracy of the timer function in the manuals. WHAT IS THE CYCLE TIME SET TO? Many PLCs have a setting for the cycle time. Maybe it's set to 10ms and so you can't be more accurate than that.
saruans Posted March 22, 2018 Author Report Posted March 22, 2018 My PLC is M241CE24T/U Where are can find Cycle time setting?
Crossbow Posted March 23, 2018 Report Posted March 23, 2018 Don't know that model, I only know the older ones, haven't touched Modicon in a decade. Someone more familiar with the current software will have to answer, sorry. But I do see in the manual that there are task settings to be made to determine which programs run and how often. That is what I was referring to.
Akahige Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 you might find more information on the PLC from the manuals provided by Schneider: https://www.schneider-electric.com/en/product-range-download/62129-logic-controller---modicon-m241/#tabs-top @saruans
Akahige Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) The operator manual is located here: http://www.eschneider.pl/download/04%20Automatyka%20przemyslowa/PLC%20sterowniki/M241_PLC_Modicon-Hardware_Guide_2014ENG.pdf and http://www.filkab.com/files/category_files/file_3079_bg.pdf From this last manual I found the following: Edited October 4, 2018 by Akahige
