I have had experience with Genius I/O on series6 and 90-70, but have never used one of these. I am now retired & would like to play with this card in a PC and maybe pick-up a Genius block or 2 off of Ebay...for tinkering Any ideas as to what software/driver that may allow me to play with it? If yes, goto the GE Fannuc web site: http://www.geindustrial.com/cwc/gefanuc/su...IO/genius-d.htm and download testgeni.zip to make sure that it works and is configured for your PC. Then ask for gefcomms.zip (or similar) hear, it's a set of software tools. I used to have it but can not locate it now.
n8ghz Posted January 19, 2005 Author Report Posted January 19, 2005 Yes, that is what it is IC660ELB906M. I forgot to include the ELB. It is an ISA, daughterboard model, an M. I just recently found another one...it is a P I have not put either in a PC yet, but do have the GE test program & the 074 PDF document,etc. Thank you for your input, maybe I can find that package.
