Guest Rother Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 If the cable you need is the same as the Mitsi FX series then you are probably out of luck The cable is not a pin to pin cable. It has a protocol covertor within the connector. The cable you need is an SC-09 Quote

Take a look here for a cable diagram http://www.btinternet.com/~paul416/PLC/sc09.jpg The converter is just a rs232 to rs422 converter. I used one of the inline converters avaliable from RS Components (UK). Quote

Sergei Troizky Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Two receivers and two transmitters on the PC side of the converter is one piece MAX202 from Maxim (RS232 to RS422 converter). On the PLC side there are two differential driver/receiver pairs. Each is 75179B from Texas Instruments. Quote
