Saliaris Posted November 7, 2018 Report Posted November 7, 2018 Hi to all, I have CX-supervisor on a PC for the last 2 years. Recently ( about six months ago) it started having a strange behaviour. When the SCADA recieves too many alarms, the PC stays out of memory and crashes. The only way to recover it is by restarting the PC. This happens only when I have many alarms. Any ideas what may be the problem? thanks a lot
Berti Baker Posted November 8, 2018 Report Posted November 8, 2018 Hi, Did you upgrade CX-Supervisor since 2 years ago? What version are you running now? What does "stays out of memory" mean? If you mean the RAM usage is increasing until available ram is full the sounds like you have a memory leak. Normally you only have 500 alarms logged (configurable) so intentionally should not keep allocating more memory. Regards BB
