Mitsubishi Alpha PLC backup help

Hello,

I am very brand new not only to this site but also new to PLC.  I have a Mitsubishi Alpha PLC  and I would like to save the program from the PLC.  Is it possible to read from Alpha PLC controller for backup?

Aslo, after programming the controller, should i have to press RUN on the controller or STOP?

You need yo have software (AL-PCS/WIN) and programming cable (AL-232CAB) to download software from PLC for software please check this link below (need to register first).

How about after programming, do i need to press "run" on the PLC?

I don't familiar with Alpha PLC but for other PLC model when you download program to them PLC status will stop that output cannot work. If you need to run program you should press run.
