Centerline Smart Electrode (VeriFast)

I have been tasked to find a way to detect off center nuts in our projection welding processes. I had Centerline come in and demo their product and, on the surface, it seems to work pretty well. I have heard from a few others that have long term experience with the system that it is a huge headache with having to constantly be re-calibrated over and over. Does anyone have any experience with Centerline? Any information would be helpful. Also, other off-center detection ideas.
